The screenshots in this walkthrough are made in 2016, when I did the Dutch walkthrough. 

So the text on the screenshots is in the Dutch language, but I don't thing that this will be a problem.

Anna's Quest is a point and click adventure game in which you as Anna, a 10 year old girl, embark on a dangerous adventure to find healing for your sick old grandfather. 

When you start the game for the first time, you must first choose the language in which you want to play the game.

English is already selected by default, but if you want German or French, for example, click the arrows until you have the relevant flag in the 2 screens, then click the checkmark to confirm your choice. After choosing the language you end up on the next screen where you can immediately go for "New Game" or you first go to  the "Main Menu" screen.

If you first want to change some settings of the game then first go to the "Main Menu" screen

On the "Main Menu" screen you will find the various game options such as: "Resume Game", "Save game", "New Game", "Bonus", "Settings" and "Exit Game". While playing the game you open this "main menu" screen through the escape key or through the TAB , at the top right of your inventory book. Under "Bonus" you will find all sorts of bonus things that you first have to unlock while playing the game ..... these are movies, drawings, achievements and credits.

First go to the "Settings" because there you can set some things to your own preferences. 

Click the various TABS and then check your preferences in the boxes.

Left clicking with the cursor is picking things up and talking. Right-clicking with the cursor is viewing things ....

Often you have to look at things before you can grab them ......... Anna then tells what she sees and then the item is available to pick up. You conduct conversations through a conversation screen in which you then click the dialog options.

Anna has an Inventory. The Inventory is the book that is always at the bottom right of the screen ........ 

You open the inventory by clicking the book.

Anna  also has Telekinesian powers .......

With her Telekinesian power Anna can destroy things, bend things or take things . To use Anna's Telekinesis power, select the Brain Icon that is always at the bottom left of your screen and you can also see it at the bottom left of the inventory. At the top right of the Inventory book are 3 Tabs ....... Through those 3 Tabs you open the "Save games" screen, the "Settings" screen and the "Main Menu" screen.

The game automatically saves your progress if you stop playing, but you can also save your game at any time in the "Save games" screen

If you are satisfied with your settings, click "New Game" and ....... You will arrive at the "Chapter screen" ......

Only Chapter 1: A Little Experiment  is now available, so click the round photo with the spoon and then click the arrow under the "Start Chapter" screen and .......

The game starts with a

.... Intro .....

In the farmhouse in the woods, Anna's grandfather is wondering where his granddaughter is .....

Grandpa is worried about Anna but she comes in because she is done with her chores around the farm house. 

Anna asks if they can go to the village tomorrow, but Grandpa doesn't like this. 

Grandpa urges Anna not to just wander into the dark forest because that is far too dangerous for a little girl.

Then the narrator takes over and we see that Anna's grandfather suddenly becomes very ill. Anna has to promise grandfather that she will not go out to find a cure for him, but the little girl is outrageous and decides to go in search of a cure for her grandfather and ........

..... in the dark and dangerous forest Anna is seized by the evil Witch Winfriede and she imprisons Anna in her Witch Tower.

Chapter 1: A Little Experiment:

Anna is locked up by the witch Winfriede in the bedroom of the tower and she is staring desperately through the window. Anna is determined to escape from the witch's claws and to find healing for her grandfather. We then suddenly hear the witch's voice .....

Tutorial

The witch sees everything through the camera, which hangs on the ceiling above the door on the right. The witch talks to Anna through a loudspeaker above the door. Witch Winfriede wants Anna to stand a bit closer to the camera and you are asked if you want to go through the Tutorial ..... 

You can skip the Tutorial, but don't do that  .... 

So click the green check mark at the bottom right of the screen, and then follow the instructions that you get through these screens.

First you have to bring Anna closer to the camera, so just walk to the door of the room. The witch sees Anna through the camera and starts a conversation. A screen appears with conversation options. Click an option to answer the witch ........ Winfriede wants Anna to go sit in the red armchair. The Tutorial screen reappears and in it you can read that you have to put Anna into the red chair, so click the screen away ....... 

Place your cursor then on the red chair ...... your arrow cursor then becomes the action cursor .......

With your left mouse button (Left click) Anna carries out the actions such as grabbing things and talking. With your right mouse button (right click) Anna looks at things and then tells something about it. In conversations you can skip dialogs by clicking with your left mouse button. So now left click the red chair and ........ Anna takes a seat in the red chair and ....

The helmet, which hangs above the chair, sinks down and over Anna's head and through the helmet Anna is given some "electric shocks". Anna then gets up again and Winfriede asks if she now feels "different". The helmet should have activated Anna's special "powers". Answer the witch again via the conversation screen. Witch Winfriede is convinced that Anna has the power of Telekenesis and she wants Anna to try out her power on a soupspoon.

The Tutorial screen will reappear and you will now read that you need to find a Spoon. You also read that you can make all so-called "hotspots" visible by pressing your mouse wheel or your space bar. Click the Tutorial screen out of the way and then press your mouse wheel, or your space bar, to make all hotspots visible. Release the mouse wheel / space bar and read again what is being reported in the Tutorial screen and then click that screen away again.

At the bottom right there is a table and on that table there is, among other things, a plate with soup with a spoon sticking in the soup. Walk to the table and first right click on the soup plate so that you have again fulfilled an assignment from the Tutorial. Then click the Tutorial screen away again and then left click the soup plate to grab the Spoon.

The spoon is stored in the inventory, as you can read in the Tutorial screen. At the bottom right is always the Inventory book. At the bottom left is now also Anna's Brain Icon. With her brain, Anna can use her Telekenesis power. Left click the Inventory book to open the inventory and ..... In the Tutorial screen you can read about Anna's Telekenesis and what you can do with it. Close the Tutorial screen to return to the inventory.

The Inventory now only contains 1 item and that is the Spoon you have just picked up. At the bottom left the Brain icon sticks to the book. At the top right are the 3 Tabs with which you open the Save game screen, the Settings screen and the Main Menu screen. Witch Winfriede wants Anna to bend the spoon with her telekinesis power. So click the Brain icon ...... your cursor then becomes the Brain Cursor ..... Left-click with the Brain Cursor on the spoon and ......

You automatically go out of the inventory ......... see how Anna bends the spoon through pure "brain power". Witch Winfriede wants Anna to show the spoon and the Tutorial also wants this. So after you have clicked away the Tutorial screen again, take the now bent spoon from inventory and left click with it on the camera ......

Winfriede goes almost crazy with joy that Anna's gift actually works. Winfriede then disappears and ....He.....Brown Bear, who is sitting next to the red chair against the wall, suddenly starts screaming. So the teddy bear can talk and. ..... Anna can understand the bear ....... The Tutorial screen wants you to talk to the bear. Click the Tutorial screen away again and then click on the bear with the talking cursor

The bear says that his name is Ben and that he was not always a teddy bear. Continue to talk to bear Ben through the call options you get and use them all.

Ben says that he is actually a human boy but that he was kidnapped by witch Winfriede. Ben has been turned into a teddy bear by a failed experiment of Winfriede. Ben warns Anna that the witch is after the telekinesis power of Anna. Anna promised that she will take Ben with her if she knows how to escape. Ben and Anna then continue to talk about the machine, which is to the left of the red chair in the corner.

When you have gone through all the conversation options with Ben, the Tutorial screen pops up again. 

Anna is now free to look around and start doing the things she needs to do to escape from this witch tower. So click the Tutorial screen away again. 

The Tutorial has taught you that you should always first view things by right-clicking on them with the cursor and picking up objects by left-clicking. I therefore assume that you now know this and so I won't tell you this again. Press your spacebar or mouse wheel again to make all the "Hotspots" visible in the room and then first view all those marked "hotspots" and hear what Anna says about it.

Next to Ben is a girl doll and a unicorn doll against the wall. Anna doesn't like the girl doll. A sharp horn sticks on the head of the unicorn doll and Anna thinks she can cut the horn from the unicorn if she has a reason to want such a pointed horn. The soup plate is still on the table and there is also a pear of scissors. There is also a cup with colored chalks and paint tubes on the table. Look again at the soup plate and also look at the scissors and the cup with colored chalks (Art stuff). Then take the pear of Scissors and also get a Crayon from the cup ......

Anna takes a blue piece of chalk and also a tube of yellow paint and the paint brush from the cup. Take the tube of paint from inventory and then click it on the ugly girl doll and then also do this with the chalk to give that doll a nicer face ...... You have then earned the "Makeover" achievement with this.

The white machine, which is behind the red chair in the corner, has a monitor. View the white machine and also the monitor of the machine. Anna says that there is a flap on the bottom of the machine behind which the buttons are. That flap is screwed on at the back. Take the pear of scissors from inventory and click it on the machine ......

Anna tries to flip the flap off the machine with the scissors, but the tips of the scissors are too thick.

Anna needs something thinner. Click with the scissors on the unicorn doll to cut the pointed horn of the doll

Take the Unicorn horn from inventory and then click it on the machine and ......

....with the tip of the horn Anna manages to open the flap of the machine ...... Anna then presses the buttons of the machine at random, so that the helmet above the red chair briefly goes up and down and ....... An electrical component then falls out of the helmet .........

View the electrical part that is now lying on the floor in front of Anna and then try to take it ...... The part is "electrically charged" so Anna needs a piece of rubber to be able to safely pick up the part. There is a Ball in front of the window ...... View the Ball ..... it is a rubber ball, so grab the Ball ....... You will get the Tutorial screen again and it explains how to combine 2 inventory items. Click the screen away and then open the inventory. Pick up the scissors in the inventory and then click on the ball with the scissors to cut the ball into two halves ......

Anna then has 1 half of the ball in inventory. Take that half ball from inventory and use it to pick up the electrical part with it and .....

Anna puts the part on her head to strengthen her brainpower with it ......

Witch Winfriede notices that something is going on because she is watching Anna through the camera 

Anna wants to do something about that now.

Go talk to Ben again ...... Anna tells Ben that she will distract the witch and that Ben must be ready for the escape. After this conversation, click the Brain icon at the bottom left of the screen. Your cursor will then be the Brain cursor ..... Left-click with the Brain cursor on the camera and...... 

with her brainpower Anna then destroys the camera and the speaker .......

The witch notices this of course and ...... Anna then sees the witch rushing out of her tower, on her way to the bedroom.

The room door is of course locked. If you had not yet viewed the door, you do so now. Then click on the door with the brain cursor to open the door with the brainpower. Then read the message in the Tutorial screen and then click this screen away. Then leave the room .....

The Tutorial ends now, so click the screen away again. Anna now ensures that Ben gets up to go with her. Anna and Ben leave the bedroom. 

You have earned the "Escape artist" achievement.

We are in the hallway, do not linger but descend down the stairs ...... Ben also comes down and then the witch Winfriede opens the front door ....

Quickly  ..... click the Brain Icon and then click with the Brain cursor on the door to close and lock the door with the brainpower .....

Winfriede is then shut out and we end up in.....

Chapter 2: The Great Escape

Anna and Ben are back in the bedroom and have a conversation. Witch Winfriede is downstairs but she cannot enter because Anna has closed the front door with her brainpower. Anna wants to look around to find a way to escape. View everything else here in the bedroom.

View the Box that stands on the floor to the right of the room door. Try to see if Anna can open the box ...... the box is of course locked. View the bed and the pillow. Take the bed pillow. Anna puts the pillow in inventory and ....... where the pillow lay you now see the first of 12 Sweets / Colored Items that you can score in the game .... .Click on the candy ....

If you find all 12 sweets / Colored Items then you score the "Poster boy Achievement". The sweets / colored items are not saved but disappear from the game when you click on them. You don't get the action cursor on the candies, so click on the candies with the regular white arrow cursor to remove them from the game.

Leave the bedroom to the hallway. A Witch's hat hangs on the coat rack. Above the sink is a shelf with some things on it. 

There is a rat on the left ceiling beam and that rat has a key in its paws. First view everything again.

If you look at the sink, Anna sees that a hair of witch Winfriede is sticking down the drain. If you try to take the hair out of the sink, Anna will not succeed because the drain pipe is too narrow to put her hand into it. The rat tries to eat the key and refuses to give the key to Anna. So the rat is hungry.

Take the Witch Hat ......... Anna puts the hat away in inventory. Go down the stairs to the downstairs corridor.

Witch Winfriede is kicking and yelling at the closed door outside. A skeleton is chained to the left wall. There is a table on the long wall. The table has 2 drawers. Above the table hangs a life-size portrait of Winfriede. To the left of the table is the drain pipe from the sink on the wall. The drain pipe has a bend, a gooseneck. A black cat sits at the door and that cat wears a necklace with a diamond on it.

View the portrait painting of Winfriede. Anna sees a hidden slot in the frame of the painting. View the "gooseneck" in the drainpipe.  Anna tells that the "gooseneck" is a bit loose in the pipe. Look at the black cat. The cat is wearing a diamond around her neck and she wants to sleep but she does not want to lie down on the bare floor. The cat wants a comfortable bed to sleep on. 2 drawers are in the table. Open the left drawer  and... Anna takes a rope from the drawer. Open the right drawer ..... From the right drawer Anna takes a Heart key and a heavy black Ball (Paperweight).

Click on the stairs to go back up ... and ..... The chained skeleton wakes up and .....

.........the spirit of Joringel now appears ......

A conversation follows between Anna and Joringel. Continue talking with Joringel via the conversation options.

Joringel wants to help Anna to escape and he says that there is a secret passage here and that the button to open that passage is behind the portrait of Winfriede. Unfortunately, the rat has the key to the painting's lock. Joringel continues to talk about himself and about his wife Winnie, who disappeared into the forest years ago, and how he ended up here. Joringel and his wife Winnie both studied at the "Voigt School for Witches". Joringel cannot leave here because Winfriede keeps his soul imprisoned here.

There is a long red carpet on the floor. Just before Joringel you see a bump in the carpet. Left click that bump in the carpet and ...... Anna turns over the carpet so that a floor drain becomes visible. View the drain. Anna says that there is some Smelly mold in the drain. So left click the floor drain to extract the smelly Mold

Combine the Smelly mold with the tube / paint brush yellow paint in inventory and ...... Anna has made Cheese.

Now go back to the upper corridor, through the stairs, and then give the Cheese to the rat and ........

The rat takes the cheese and therefore drops the key ...... Anna picks up the key on her own. Go back down and use the key you just got on the Winfriede painting and ...... The painting opens and we see the wall safe. the safe has no handle. Anna asks Joringel about the safe. ...

Joringel says that the safe has 2 locks .... 1 lock opens with the diamond that the black cat wears around his neck. The 2nd slot is a "voice" lock and that requires the voice of witch Winfriede. So try to get the cat's diamond but the cat does not want to give the key.

To get the diamond, the cat must go to sleep. But the cat only goes to sleep when we give her a nice soft bed. You have taken Anna's bed pillow from the bedroom. Click with the pillow on the cat ...... unfortunately ... the cat doesn't find the pillow soft enough to lie on it ..... Go back upstairs and to the bedroom. Walk on to Ben and the Unicorn Doll ..... View the Unicorn doll again ...... The unicorn is filled with soft fluffy filling .... Left click the Unicorn to extract some of the down filling (Stuffing).

 In inventory, combine the Fluffy Stuffing with the pillow to make the pillow softer (Fluffy pillow). Go back to the cat and click with the pillow on the cat again ...the cat still finds the pillow not good enough, so back to the bedroom. In the bedroom,  cut out one of the two red window curtains with the Scissors

Then combine the piece of red Velvet with the pillow in inventory. Back to the cat and click again with the pillow on the cat and ......

....the discerning cat is finally satisfied and now lies down on the pillow, so grab the cat's diamond.

Use the diamond on the safe to unlock the 1st lock of the safe.

 1 light of the safe turns green. Anna stores the diamond back in inventory. However, the safe is not yet open because there is still a 2nd slot but it works on the voice of witch Winfriede. So Anna has to make a recording of Winfriede's voice. 

Go back to the bedroom. Take the Heart key from inventory and then click it on the box to open the box with it .... 

From the box Anna takes  a broken Recorder

The speaker is still hanging above the bedroom door. Look at the speaker again ..... 

the speaker is hanging loosely on the wall. So use Brainpower on the speaker to tear the speaker off the wall ....

Anna will pick the speaker off the floor all by herself.

 In inventory, combine the Speaker, which also has a microphone, with the broken Recorder to fix the recorder. Then right-click the now-made recorder and ...... Anna will sing a song and with this you earn the "Singstar Achievement". Go back down and use the Recorder on the front door to record Winfriede's voice. Then use the Recorder on the Safe and ......

The song that Anna has recorded does not work but the recorded voice of the witch does the trick and the Safe opens.

From the safe Anna takes an Amulet, a Blueprint, a Spellbook and a Family photo. Anna looks at the photo in close-up

The photo shows a man and a woman and a little girl .... the woman looks suspiciously like witch Winfriede. 

Anna puts away the photo and she then presses the red button and .......

 in the floor the basement hatch now opens and of course Anna descends to the basement.

In the basement, Anna is greeted by the talking Mirror who calls herself Mirror. Talk to Mirror via all conversation options.

Mirror says that Anna already owns the object with which she can escape because that is the Spellbook that Anna has taken from the safe. Mirror shows Anna that her grandfather is getting worse. However, a wizard lives in the village of Wunderhorn who could heal grandfather. Anna has to make a protection spell so that the witch cannot follow her when she has escaped from the tower. This spell can be found on page 44 of the Spell Book and Anna automatically lists what she needs for that.

Mirror disappears when you have discussed everything with it. 

Anna needs the following items for the Protection spell:

  • A raven's feather,

  • A witch's hair, 

  • A spirit that blesses the cooking pot.

  • Fire under the cooking pot

  • An amulet that is "loaded" with moonlight.

The large cooking pot is in front of the mirror and on the left is a bookcase. There are 6 books in the bookcase and the other shelves are filled with bottles, spell ingredients, jars and clothes. View everything in the bookcase and then left click on the books ........ Anna then asks which book she will read ..... 

An options screen will now appear containing the 6 book titles of the 6 books in the bookcase. 

Click a book title and Anna then reads that book . Anna must read each of the 6 books, so click each of the 6 book titles ...

In the "Dangerous Creatures" book, Anna reads about dragons and how they produce their fire. Dragons do this by swallowing paraffin and igniting it in their belly. In the "Communicating With the Other Side" book Anna reads how to evoke a ghost. She needs an object of the dead for that. In the "Guide to Evil Pets" Anna reads about ravens and where that bird can often be found. In the "Party Tricks" book Anna does not read anything special but she also stores this book in inventory. By reading all 6 books and taking the "Party Tricks" book you earn the "Bookworm Achievement". Finally click on "None" to close the screen.

There is a table at the staircase wall and above that table is a certificate on the wall. View that certificate. The certificate has been awarded to a certain Hans Lind and Anna wonders who that is and why witch Winfriede has this certificate. On the table are bottles and a book stand. View the Book stand and view the bottles. The blue bottle has a cork. Take the Corck.

Bottom left is a  drain in the floor. To the right in front of the floor drain is also a table and on that table is a small golden ring. Take the golden ring.

View the floor drain and view the large cooking pot. Go back up the stairs. Back upstairs in the downstairs corridor you click with the talking cursor on the closed front door to talk to witch Winfriede. Say "Let's make a deal first ...." and then ask the witch everything you can ask about Telekenesis, the chained skeleton and Hans Lind.

With the question about Hans Lind you earn the "Little Genius achievement". Then close the conversation via "That's enough talking for now."

In Inventory, view the Blueprint ..... On the blueprint Anna sees that there was once a fireplace with a chimney in the bedroom. However, the witch has removed that chimney and masoned the ceiling. So go back to the bedroom. The lens of the camera sticks into the backrest of the red chair. That lens was shot into the red chair when Anna destroyed the camera with her brain power. View the lens and then grab the Lens.

Look up at the ceiling above the red chair and the helmet. Above the helmet Anna sees a "weak spot" in the ceiling. View the "weak spot". Anna reports that, according to the blueprint, the chimney went through the ceiling here to the attic. So use Brainpower on the Weak Spot in the ceiling and ......

Anna breaks a large hole in the ceiling. But how can Anna get through the ceiling hole into the attic? Open the inventory and then right click on the "Party tricks book". In the "Party tricks book" Anna reads about a truck to pull handkerchiefs out of a top hat. From the upper corridor you have already taken the Witch Hat from the coat rack.  If you have not yet taken that witch hat, you must now do so.

 In inventory, combine the Witch Hat with the "Party tricks book" and Anna carries out the handkerchief magic truck. So Anna conjures a chain of handkerchiefs from the top hat. Combine the Handkerchief chain with the heavy black Ball (Paperweight) to make the chain more heavier. Take the Weighted chain from inventory and use it in the Roof hole and ... Anna throws the handkerchief necklace up through the ceiling hole and we see the chain coming out through the chimney on the roof ..... we also see that there is a black Raven on the roof.

So climb up through the handkerchief chain to the attic

Attic

The generator is in the attic. The generator is powered by a dragon in a treadmill. The poor dragon must constantly keep the treadmill running. There is a mirror in front of the dragon. The dragon seems to be hypnotized by something it sees in the mirror.  The handkerchief chain goes further up through the chimney. Behind the generator you see a crack in the sloping roof. First view everything again by right-clicking.

Take the mirror and......he little dragon immediately stops running and the generator goes out. Take the Dragon from the cage. Dragon would like to go with Anna so Anna stores the Dragon in inventory. Climb through the chimney through the handkerchief chain. Anna then sticks out of the chimney. The raven has made its nest on the TV dish. The moon is in the night sky but clouds are always shifting before the moon. Anna sees the witch. On the right-hand side of the roof is Candy 2. Take Candy 2

Take the Lens from inventory and click it on the moon ........ Anna puts the lens on the edge of the chimney ....

Take the Amulet from inventory and then wait until the moon is completely visible, so until no more clouds slide in front of the moon ......

...... then quickly click on the Moon with the Amulet and .....

...through the lens the Amulet is then charged with moonlight from the full moon. Anna also needs a raven feather, so click on the raven, but the raven does not want to give up a feather. Climb back down to the attic. Then use Anna's Brainpower on the crack in the sloping wall to "promote" the crack to a hole. Then look out of the hole but.......

 ....... the raven does not want Anna to look through the hole

Climb back up the chimney .... Take the Mirror from inventory and click it on the raven ....

The raven sees himself in the mirror but thinks another raven wants to conquer his nest ..... Raven doesn't tolerate another bird on "his" roof and keeps looking at the raven in the mirror and shouting at it. Quickly .... climb back down and quickly peek through the hole in the roof and ....... Anna pulls a raven feather out of the raven.

Anna also needs a hair of the witch for the protection game.  We know that a hair of witch Winfriede sticks in the drain pipe of the sink, but how to get that hair out of the pipe? Climb back to the bedroom and then go back down to the downstairs corridor. The drain pipe of the sink hangs on the corner of the wall. In the drain pipe sticks the "gooseneck" ...... Anna knows that "gooseneck" is a bit loose, so left click the "gooseneck" to remove that piece of pipe. Anna doesn't need the pipe so she throws it on the floor. Take the Corck from inventory and then put the cork in the upper part of the drain pipe to close the pipe.

Go back to the upper corridor and now open the water tap of the sink and .......

The hair of the witch will now float to the top and  Anna will take the hair out of the full sink.

Go back down and click with the talk cursor on the Joringel skeleton to recall his spirit. Joringel tells about the golden ring that Anna has found in the basement. That gold ring belongs to Joringel and he needs the ring to free his soul. So give the golden ring to Joringel and ....

Joringel is released and disappears to look for his lover and forgets his promise to help Anna. Drop back to the basement. At the bottom left, the grate of the floor drain protrudes into the floor. View the drain again and then use Brainpower on the grid to remove it.

Then look into the drain and ........

Anna looks into the sewer pit and sees a hand holding a white handkerchief. On the white handkerchief is a J so would this handkerchief have been from Jorinde, the beloved wife of Joringel? The hand has the handkerchief stiff under the stiffly bent fingers ..... Place your cursor on each of the 4 fingers ..... from left to right the fingers are the Thumb, the Pointer finger) , the Middle finger  and the Little finger

Use the Brainpower on the Thumb, Pointer finger and the Little finger to open these 3 fingers and ....... The hand releases the handkerchief and it falls into the filthy smelly water. In inventory, combine the String with the Bent spoon to bind the spoon to the string. Take the Spoon on string from inventory and click it on the handkerchief and .....

Anna fishes the handkerchief from the sewer. Click the up arrow at Anna to get out of the pit. Go back to the bedroom. View the handkerchief in inventory and listen to what Anna says. Take the handkerchief from inventory and put the handkerchief on the bed ...... and ..... Anna will lie down on the handkerchief and ......

your screen goes black for a moment and then Anna falls asleep and dreams of her grandfather in the farmhouse ....

We are, in Anna's dream, back in the farmhouse with grandfather. At the bottom of the screen is a round table. Anna wants Grandpa to read her a story and he says that Anna should give him a book. On the round table there are 2 Children's books. Left click the children's books, but Anna does not want to be read from the children's books. On the table there is also a cup with pencils. Colored Items 3 also stick in that cup. Take the Colored Items from the cup. 

There is a shelf on the chimney and on that shelf is a thick book. Click that thick book and Anna asks grandpa if he wants to read from that book and, after some struggling, grandpa does do that when Anna has gone to bed again and ....... Anna wakes up in the bedroom again because of the screams of Ben who  screams that the spirit of Jorinde has now appeared ....

 Anna talks to Jorinde but she can't talk and suddenly she disappears. Go down the corridor and .......

Jorinde is here now and Anna talks again to the ghost who then disappears to the basement, so also descend to the basement and ....

Jorinde is here and she is now being reunited with Joringel ......

However, Jorinde is angry with Joringel because he has forgotten his promise to Anna and ....

both spirits then bless the cooking pot and then disappear and with this you have earned the "My lost nightingale achievement".

Now Anna must cook the protection Spell. Throw the Raven feather and the Witch's hair into the cooking pot. If you had not yet read the "Dangerous Creatures" book, in the bookcase, then you do so now so that Anna reads about the dragons and how they make their fire. Then combine in inventory the Crayon, which contains paraffin, with the Dragon and you have a fire-breathing dragon. Use the dragon to light the fire under the cooking pot .....

Anna then puts the little dragon back in inventory. Take the "loaded Amulet" from inventory and dip the amulet in the cooking pot and Anna then has a shiny Magic Amulet. Mirror appears and says goodbye to Anna. View the Amulet in inventory to score the "Ooh, it's shiny" achievement.

It is high time to escape, so go back to the bedroom. Ben is terrified and the hole in the ceiling and the handkerchief chain have disappeared and Witch Winfriede appears. Answer the witch and Witch Winfriede starts waving with her magic wand to finally deal with Anna and Ben ...... Quickly ..... Click the Brain icon and then use Anna's Brainpower on the move Wand of Winfriede and see what happens .....

Anna is waiting for the right moment to use her brain power and that moment will then come and .......

Winfriede's spell "backfires" on her self and Anna and Ben now escape from their captivity and end up in the dark forest

Through the woods

You have earned the "Through the woods" achievement. In the forest Anna and Ben meet Reynard the fox ........

The fox wants to make a deal with Anna. Reynard is hungry and he wants an apple, hanging in the left tree. 

Try to get the apple with Brainpower out of the tree ........

However, the apple falls on the branch of the other tree. Now use your Brainpower on the Center branch to break off that branch. Then use your Brainpower on the branch on which the apple lies, so on the top branch to move the apple to the bottom branch. Use Brainpower on the Bottom branch to make the apple fall to the floor ......

Fox Reynard is impressed by Anna's powers but he also warns that the residents of Wunderhorn are not so fond of bears. Reynard takes Ben to disguise him. Anna is then called, so she walks to fox Reynard and Ben. Reynard has given Ben a nice disguise. In the distance we see the village of Wunderhorn.

Anna and Ben walk on to the village and Reynard wonders if Anna is the girl from the farmhouse. We end up in:
