Chapter 10: Nico and George: Prague: Part 1

This entire chapter is a STEALTH MISSION. This means that George, and later also Nico, may not be seen by the guards and their dogs and may not be discovered by the spotlight either. You will have to SNEAK for the large part of this chapter. You sneak by holding down your CTRL key in combination with your Arrow keys. 

You can SAVE, but there is a small problem with this. As soon as George has gone through the gate there are, only a few so-called SAFE PLACES. If you want to stop playing, because you have had enough of it, but George is not at one of these SAFE PLACES, you can save but the point where you are at that moment will NOT be saved. If you load this save again you will see that you have to start again from the last SAFE PLACE. It is true that all the "puzzles" that you had done have been solved, but you will have to redo part of the route from the SAFE PLACE to the point where you had previously stopped. I can't tell you where all those safe save places are.

1: Going through the Gate of the Castle:

You play as George

Nico and George has traveled to Prague, in Nico's car, and arrived at the Castle. We see the entrance gate of the castle. There are 2 low walls on the right and left.

Take a moment to chat with Nico. So walk to Nico and press 3. After exchanging some pleasantries, your conversation topics appear on the screen. Well, use them all. Nico fears that Susarro will have killed Bruno by now. However, George is much more concerned about what Bruno will tell first. The André Lobineau option provides you with a nice conversation that once again demonstrates George's jealousy. Furthermore, this chat is quite useless. So close it off.

Walk to the big gate. Listen at the gate with 1. George hears a dog. The gate really doesn't open, so don't bother with it. There is an Intercom box on the right wall. Walk to the intercom box and stand in front of it. Look at the intercom with 1. George tells you that there is a button on it that you can press. So press 3 and ...

The right door of the gate opens and an armed guard approaches George and tells George to "get lost". The guard goes back and closes the gate again. 

George has to look at the intercom box and this only works when Nico is not standing at the intercom. When in your game Nico is standing at, or near the intercom box then George can not look at the box, so you first have to make sure that Nico walks away from the intercom by moving George away.....Nico will follow George. 

Stand with George in front of the Intercom again and make sure you have the "gear" in 3...Open your inventory and select Nico and press 3. .....

George now asks Nico to press the intercom button. Walk to the bottom of your screen and then go to the, left past the left wall and then Up to the shadows behind the left wall. George must stand behind the left wall but not to far away......Now press and hold down your CTRL key now and keep a close eye on what happens .......

Nico presses the intercom and that guard steps out again and he's horny on Nico.

Nico takes the to the bottom right of your screen, so to the right wall. The guard is then standing with his back to George ...

As soon as Nico is standing with the guard in front of the right wall, you get control over George again......Now sneak, via your CTRL key and your arrow keys, back around the left wall to the opened gate ..... However, you must stay in the SHADOW of the left wall. Sneak along the left wall to the gate then go right to the open right gate door and go through it quickly.

Now the Stealth part is really going to start

2: George: Entering the Castle:

A: Through the Gardens:

George has now gone through the gate and is therefore on the driveway. Walk a little bit further......... You then see two guards, each with a dog. The right guard will always stay where he is now, but the left guard will walk around with his dog. On the left wall you see 3 Arches. Go left until you reach the wall  between the first two arches. In 2 you get the "Climb up" symbol...... So press 2. George is will hang on the wall, exactly between the two front arches. Press 2 again and George climbs on top of the wall.

In 1 you get the "Climb Down" symbol, so press 1 and George is hanging on the wall again, but now on the other side.

 Press 1 again to make George fall down into the garden. Now turn George towards you and then continue to the bottom of the screen and continue to the next wall. 

You get the "Climb Up" symbol again in 2, so press 2 and George is also hanging on this wall. Press 2 again to have George climb onto the wall. 

Press 1 and George goes hanging on the other side of the wall. Press 1 again to make George fall to the floor again.

Turn George towards you and walk to the bottom of the screen. Again George walks up against a wall. Turn George to the right and follow this wall to the right until you reach the corner. Stay in the shadow of the wall. George is  in the upper left corner of the second "garden" and you can now see, at the top right, that guard with his dog.

To the left of the guard you see a white landing. That landing is the entrance to the large left courtyard where George has to go. Wait until the guard has left. First the guard walks up a little to just past the white landing (2). The dog follows the guard. At 2 the guard waits a few seconds and then he continues to the right until he's under the gate at 3. Wait until the guard and his dog are again under the gate on the right (3).

As soon as the guard and his dog are standing under gate 3, move George sneaky to the right along the wall and then around the corner and then Up to the white landing. Go up the landing and to the top of the landing to the left and you will reach that courtyard.

B: Spotlight Courtyard

Quickly, Stay in the shadows of the walls and go immediately down into the corner. A large spotlight goes up and down this courtyard. 

You always see the  yellow light circle from the spotlight going up and down the ground. 

Stay in the shadow of the walls and in the corner until you see the circle of light go backwards.

Then walk down along the wall, down and then to the right into the corner. There are 2 garbage bins and a garbage container in the corner. 

Stand in front of the front garbage bin. In 3 you get the "grabbing hand". Press 3 and George takes a piece of string from the bin

Continue to the garbage container and then turn George over with Down and walk, with Down plus Right, to the right. Behind the 3rd garbage container there are again two garbage bins. Stand in front of each of these two bins and then press 3. George takes a half-eaten hamburger bun from the front bin and a piece of aluminum foil from the rear bin.

Walk along the wall, continue to the right and you will come to the corner at the round wall. 

Follow the green path, along the round wall, to the right until just before the illuminated windows. Then wait in the corner

The large circle of light from the spotlight reaches up to the wall so you have to make sure that George does not get into the light. 

When that light circle goes towards the bottom of the screen again, walk to the right and all the way to the corner. Then wait again .....

..... To the right of George you see an open gate in the wall and you see a large crate there.

Wait until the light circle goes to the right again and then walk to that open gate and go through it quickly. Walk straight to the doors at the top of your screen

C: Going over the Block wall:

George is now in a narrow courtyard and here are two large crates. Against the upper large crate are 3 smaller crates of which the rear two are on top of each other. Walk to these 3 smaller crates and position George so that you have a good view of the front part of the right wall. The wall has blocks on top. There is always space between two blocks, but this space is closed with fences. But the space between the 2nd and 3rd block has no fence. 

Now walk to the two stacked crates. Stand against it. In 3 you get the "push fist".

Press 3 and Right and George moves the upper crate onto the right lower crate. 

The crate on which the other crate used to be is now the lower crate. 

Stand on the right-hand side against the low crate and pull this crate 1x backwards, with 3 plus Down

 Then stand in front of it on the left and push this crate, with 3 plus Right, against the wall.

Climb up and over the crate. Turn to the crate and then pull the crate again, with 1 plus Up, 1 time back. The crate is now against the wall and in front of the stack of 2 crates. Climb on the crate again and walk down to the right and stand in front of the stack of 2 crates. Push the upper crate, with 3 plus Right, back onto the low crate. You now have a stack of 2 crates against the wall, exactly under that open space between the two blocks

Climb the lower crate, then on the upper crate and walk up to the wall, press 2 and George hangs on the wall again. Press 2 again and George climbs up on the wall.

Press 1 and George jumps down and then stands in an alley. 

Walk to the bottom of the screen and then keep walking until you have reached the very back of this "alley" and are against the back wall.

D: Ledges climbing and hopping:

At the top of the back wall you see 2 illuminated windows and at George's head a ledge runs along the wall. Stand against the wall, under the windows, and you get the "Climb Up" symbol in 2. So press 2 and George climbs up the ledge and then stands on the ledge at the two windows. Turn George to the right, with Down, so that he faces you. Then move George, with Down, over the ledge to the right corner. The ledge becomes narrower so you really have to shuffle.

At the corner of the ledge, turn George over with the right and then go further down the ledge to the end. George is then standing in front of the large "balcony" balustrade. On the right you see that motionless guard with his dog on the ground. From the left that walking guard will come again and he will stand in the gate under George. In 2 you now have the "Climb Up" symbol again, so press 2 and George climbs on top of the stone balustrade. Walk off with Right and walk past the large windows into the corner and climb there, with 2, on the stone balustrade again.

Continue to the right and George is then on the continuation of the wall ledge behind that motionless guard. Continue across the ledge to the right corner. 

Go around the corner and continue to the end of the ledge in the corner. Climb down with 1 and George is hanging on the ledge.

George is now hanging above a small courtyard, behind that motionless guard. Drop George down with 1

Then turn George over with Down and walk, with Left, along the wall, into the left corner. Make sure that George stays in the shadows

In the corner, turn George over with Up and walk forward and go left through the gate in the left wall.

E: Tree courtyard:

Continue to the corner to the right, behind the large tree. You now have George standing directly behind the large tree. The gate to the next courtyard is in front of the tree and another guard walks back and forth in that courtyard. George has to cross that courtyard to the gate that you see just to the right of your screen. George must do that Sneakily. Turn George over with Down and then walk forward to the left side of the gate, turn George over to the gate but make sure he stays in front of the gate in the tree courtyard. Look at the guard walking back and forth in the back.

The guard always goes from left to right and then stays in the right corner for a moment. The guard then stands with his back to George. Then the guard turns around and walks back to the left corner. As soon as you see that guard go to the right again, press and hold your CTRL key. When the guard walks from left to right and when he's about  in the middle then you SNEAK with CTRL + RIGHT ARROW across the courtyard to the other side and there you quickly go through the gate on the other side. 

George land in the next courtyard with crates

Note: The guard will not notice George if you just make sure that George stays BEHIND the guard as he walks to the right. The guard lands in the right corner when George is about half way across the courtyard. The guard stands in the right corner for a moment and when George is almost across the street, the guard turns around again but he does that to the wall and then he walks back to the left. George is then behind the guard and the guard will not notice him.

F: The 8 Crates Courtyard:

George is therefore between 8 large crates. On the left there are also 4 small crates standing against each other. Number the 4 small crates, from front to back, as 1, 2, 3, 4. Then stand in front of crate 1, with George back to you, and then pull crate 1, with 3 plus Down, 1 time back. Walk around crate 1 and stand in front of crate 2.

Pull crate 2 back one time. Climb over crate 2. George is then in the space between crates 2 and 3.Turn to crate 3 and push it forward 1 time with 3 plus Up.

Turn around to crate 4 and push crate 4, with 3 plus left, against the wall. Climb on crate 4 and hit the wall. In 2 you get the "Climb Up" symbol. 

So press 2 and George is hanging on the pillar of the wall. Press 2 again and George is on top of this pillar and looks out over the following courtyard:

G: Container Courtyard:

George is on the left of your screen, on top of the wall and he looks out over a new courtyard. There is a large container in this courtyard. There is a guard to the right of the container. To the right of the guard is a stack of crates and to the right of these crates you see the gate to the Main Courtyard of the castle. In fact, that is the "driveway". At the bottom of your screen you see a small and walled section of the courtyard. The guard is standing with his back to it. That separate section is a dog kennel and has a guard dog in it. What has to happen? Well George must go to that gate on the right and through it and he must do this without being seen by the guard and by the dog

So George is still standing on top of the wall and in 2 you have the "Climb Down" symbol. So press 2 and George hangs down on the wall. Press 2 again and George jumps to the floor and stands with his back to you. The camera position has now been changed. You now see the guard up close and he is still standing with his back to George. You can also see the fence and behind that fence is the dog. Now turn George to the left and quickly turn left into the corner.

The camera position changes again and you now see a total overview of this courtyard. George is standing in the corner, to the left next to the Dog kennel. The Guard will now have turned around and is now looking towards the bottom of the screen. However, he cannot see George because the guard just stays in place. Now turn George over and stand against the left wall of the dog kennel.

You have to stand in the right place on this wall so that you get the "Peek Eye" in 3 and the regular "eye" in 4. Then press 3. George tells you something about the dog who is hidden in the corner behind the wall. Open your inventory and then select the "Half Eaten Hamburger Sandwich". In 3 you have the "gears", so press 3 and George throws the sandwich at the dog.

The dog is now distracted. Now sneak, with CTRL plus left, to the wall and then up along the wall and along the left side of the container.

Sneak all the way to the wall behind the container George is then left behind the container ..... the guard stops and looks at the dog kennel ..

... Sneak up, to the wall and then to the right along the wall, behind the guard, into the corner .....

... and as soon as you are past the pile of crates you go to the gate and step through the gate and ...... then ....

...Immediately sneak up along the wall to the lower left corner of your screen so that George won't be discovered by the guard standing a little further. 

At the bottom left corner you turn George to the right and then you follow the wall to the right and George then comes to the Main Entrance Gate.

Nico is standing in front of the large entrance gate. A short conversation follows between Nico and George. Nico points George the helicopter, standing in the back of the courtyard, and she says that George needs to find a remote control to open this large gate.

H: The Main Courtyard: George

After the conversation you go with George to the Right until you cannot continue and are facing the Round Wall on the right side of the fence. Then turn George over with Up so that his back is turned. Sneak, so with CTRL and Up, towards the top of your screen and do this until the camera position has changed and you get a total view of this large courtyard

At the bottom of your screen a large container stand in the corner. Above the container, and a little more to the right, stand a truck with a container on it. Now sneak further to the right and stay between the container and the truck. George will not be notice by that guard at the very top of the screen.

So sneak to the right to the wall at which the front of the truck stands. Then turn George Left and walk, along the wall and along the front of the truck, to the left to the corner of the wall. When you reach the corner, you'll see the right rear corner of the courtyard and you see two more trucks.

With Up, go around the corner and follow the wall to the corner behind those two trucks. You then arrive at a kind of "Shed". Turn George towards you and walk a little forwards,  towards the bottom of your screen. At the corner of the "shed" you see a Red Button on the wall.

Now stay away from the red button but remember that the button is here. Continue walking further to the bottom of the screen.

George will be at the Helicopter platform. Continue to the right, so behind the helicopter platform, and ...... 

walk to the gate in the wall behind the helicopter platform. Do not go through the gate because that is a Dead End. 

In the left corner you will see a Green Jeep and two black cars. Go left to the jeep and stand in front of the front passenger door.

In 3 you have the "gears" and in 4 the "eye". Press 4. George reports that there is something in the passenger seat of the jeep. Press 3 and George takes a remote control from the jeep. All right, George now has the remote control and he has to go back to the main gate where Nico is still outside. So you have to take the same route that you came back. I'm not going to explain all of that in detail again. So first back to the "Shed"

then to the right until the corner past the two trucks, then the corner to beyond the front / rear truck and then again, between the truck and the container to the corner with the round wall. Then up to the gate. Stand in front of the gate, open your inventory, select the "Remote Control" and press 3.

George walks to the right and points the remote control at a box, high on the wall next to the gate. The gates open. This catches the guard's attention and that guard will come to the gate. Nico and George run away and hide behind that large container in the corner. Nico will now follow George again.

Now go the same route back to the "Shed" in the right rear corner of the courtyard.

Then stand in front of that Red Button, on the corner of the "shed". In 3 you then have the "gear". So press 3.

George presses the button and as a result the doors of the "shed" goes open, but  immediately they close again when George releases the button.

Stand in front of the Red Button again and open your inventory. Select Nico and press 3.

George asks Nico to press the Red Button and continue to do so until he will come out of the "shed" again. So walk to the left and when you are in front of the doors of the shed Nico presses the red button and the doors open again. Enter the "shed" and continue to the left.

George is standing in front of a closed door. A rod sticks in the door handles. View the rod with 4. It is the rod of a car jack. Grab the rod with 3. In your inventory this rod is called "Car Jack Handle.". Turn George over with Up and walk into the corner. Here is a lump of coal on the ground. Make sure you have the "Grab Hand" in 3, then press 3 to pick up the lump of coal.

Walk to the right and out the shed through the doors. Continue to the right, Nico joins George again.

Now go to that Green Jeep, in the corner behind the helicopter platform. Stand behind the jeep. The back of the jeep is jacked up with the red jack that stands under the back of the jeep. Stand straight in front of the jack, open your inventory and select that Carjack Handle. Press 3 and George lowers the Jeep

Walk back to the back of the jeep. In 3 you have the "gears" again, so press 3 and George tries to push the Jeep forward. This is not possible. 

Walk to the passenger seat and stand in front of it again. Press 4. The Jeep is on the parking brake. 

Press 3 and George releases the jeep from the parking brake.

Back to the back of the jeep and press 3 again.

George is now pushing the jeep forward against the wall. 

Walk to the front of the jeep and stand in front of the front wheel. Press 2 and George climbs on the hood of the jeep.

Turn George to the wall and press 2. Again, George hangs on the wall between the two front blocks. Press 2 again and George climbs over the wall and ends up on the roof of the room where that gate is, right in front of the jeep. Nico also climbs on this roof.

Turn George over with Up and walk to the rain pipe on the corner. Stand straight in front of the rain pipe and view it with 4. Then press 3 and.......

George climbs up the rain pipe and this is just going well. The upper half of the rain pipe comes off the wall. The bracket with which the rain pipe was attached to the wall falls down and George just managed to reach the roof. George then says goodbye to Nico and disappears around the corner and we continue with:
