If you have found this walkthrough via google search or via another site then you have  probably not visited my site.

A lot more very detailed game walkthroughs can be found on my site at:  www.pcgameswalkthroughs.nl

Introduction

This is the sequel to The Talos Principle I and it's nine years later. You will come across several familiar objects here: the connector, the hexadrone, the jammer, the carrying platform. You will also find some new objects here, also some game  improvements. If a connector has connections and you want to keep these connections, click wit the right mouse button. You can then ad more connections if needed, select the connections with the left mouse button and then connect with the left mouse button.

When you Start the game the first time you first get a screen in witch you can set a few game optinons, such as Subtitels and Compass

If you are color blind then you can turn Color Blind mode ONN

Click "Apply" to go to the next screen where you can set the Brightness and turn on sRGB Gamma for PC monitors on or off

Again click "Apply" to comfirm your choice. You will land on the main menu screen. Go to the Options to set everything to your own preverence.

Don't forget to look at the controls to know how to control te game. It's basicaly the same as in The Talos Principle 1 game.  The controls are WSAD, you can switch between playing in 1st or 3rd person with the H button. With the Tab key you go to the PDA where your progress and other matters are tracked. With F3 you enter photo mode where you can take a photo with X. Choose Apply if you have made any changes and click Back.

Back on the main screen choose Play. You must then chooce a slot . There are 3 slots, so you can start 3 New Games simultaneously. Your progress in the game will be saved in those slots.  You cannot save yourself in the game. The game saves your progress in the slot you have chosen at Checkpoints. So Choose an Empty Slot, and click New Game.

Cheats Console

There's a Cheat console hidden in the game but the creators of the game don't want you to cheat so they have made it impossible for you to get the cheats activated. A lot of so-called guide sites tell you how to enable the cheat console in this game, but it won't work because the creators have disabled the "Tilde" key of your keyboard in the game. So despite you get the message that "Cheats are Enabled" you cannot open up the console. If you want to use cheats then you must find a socalled Cheat Trainer for this game but I won't recomment using one

Further information about what to do in the game

The first chapter of the game is just like as in the first game. You must solve a few Tetris (Sigil)  puzzles to be able to open up a few gates to progress to the real game. After that you advance to the next levels where you must solve puzzles in the 4 directions: East-North-South-West. In each direction there are 3 worlds with 8 puzzles in each world,  2 Lost Puzzles and a puzzle with a golden gate.

You also must find a Lost Lab in each world, there are terminals with information on them. I don't know if you really need these in the game, but they are not difficult to find. There are also 2 stars in each world, and there are also 2 flames with which you can solve puzzles. You can only solve the puzzles with the Golden Gate once you have found all 24 stars. You can also find all kinds of objects that were used by humanity.

After you have done the first chapter and seen the long cut scene you will have a compass at the top left of your screen. The compass points you to where you can find the puzzles, the stars, the Golden Gate, the Tower, etc. The puzzles can also be found by following the paths, for the Human Artifacts you must walk straight through the worlds. There are 15 of these Human Artifacts found so far and there are 20 possible locations where you can find these Artifacts. Sometimes these locations are easy to find, but other locations are in woods and on rocks and are more difficult to find. You do not need these Human Artifacts to complete the game. There are also maps on Steam that show you where you can find everything.
