Part 3: Steve

You are in the room with Steve, you are at the lock to pass on objects. You only miss the turning wheel to use the lock. There is a lot to see and discover here, you can pick up and view many things again. Turn to the left, there are a few books in the rack and a green candle is on the floor in front of the 2 pipes. Take the candle.

 

  A little further to the left is a wooden box on the floor, on the wall above you see another lamp with a red sign above it. Next to it, the same closet on the wall as at Ben, but Gerald is written below.

 

    Continue to the left and you will see another large vase with a black mask in front of the radiator.

 

  Click on the vase to read what is on the back: White Is Not Next To Gold.

  On the blue barrel in the corner is a blue candle, take this candle.

    Turn left to the other wall, on the board against the wall you see 3 sheets of paper.

 

    On each sheet you see 3 lines, the letters that are on there are elements from the periodic table. Write this down.

 

When you, as Steve, have the red glasses, then you have to look at these 3 sheets again through the red glasses. You then will see symbols on each sheet of paper and you need them to solve a puzzle. To the left of the board is a safe in the wall and on the bench underneath there is a book and there is a red lamp without a light bulb. Next to it there are 4 wooden crates, when you come closer you will see a grid of a fan behind the crates. You also see screws in the grid. So you need the hammer and the screwdriver here.

On the wall above the boxes hangs Painting F and you have to turn it. How you have to turn Painting F you have seen on the drawing in the laptop at Sam. Painting F is the Bridge painting. If you do not know how to turn this painting, just switch to Sam and look at the drawing in the notebook to see how this painting should be turned.

NB: Check whether the other paintings A, B, C, D, E, at Sam and Ben, are still in the right position. You should definitely do this if you've stopped the game in between, some of them are not good anymore. If this is the case in your game, then you first put those paintings A, B, C, D, E back into the good position.

  If all paintings hang well then switch to Steve again and then click 7x on the painting F to hang them in the right position and .........

 

  You see that in another new room a painting slides up and there you see a list of figurines. We will be in that room soon

  On the floor in front of the crates there is a metal disc on the floor, also with Ben and Sam you have seen such a disc. Stand on the round metal disc,

 

  then switch to Ben and as Ben you also have to stand on that round metal disc. Then switch to Sam and stand on the round metal disc with Sam.

 

    You see that at Steve the wall opens safe.

  Then switch to Steve again and you will see that the safe in the wall has now opened. In the safe you will find a statue made of rock stone.

 

You see that on the panel,  left of the crates and opposite the round floor disc, now 3 red and 2 green lights are on. Then walk to the sink, which is filled with strange water. There is also a key in the sink, but you cannot take it yet. Look under the sink to the drain pipe, which is blocked. A job for the wrench.

 Then walk to the workbench, there is another recorder to save. There is also a tape recorder, click on it and you hear the same song again. 

On the bottom shelf there is a wooden mask in the garden hose. Take the mask. This mask must go to Sam but Steve cannot do that now

 

  Turn left .......,., On the top shelf is a red candle. Take the red candle.

 

  On the floor, underneath these shelves is a chest with images of a clover, locked of course. On the square central pillar you see a panel with 6 round lights.

 

  On the boxes, next to the clover casket, is a book, it is the story of the Land VESUVIUS. Read it through and you will find 3 numbers in the story: 100 - 70 - 11.

 

    You have seen the name VESUVIUS on the boiler at Ben earlier, it had 3 knobs. There was also a question mark, maybe this is the code, you will check that later. 

Now go to the door under the clock and then click on the hatch in the door and you will see on the door on the other side of the room GERALD C.

 

  You now know how to turn the knob on the "Gerald" box. Turn around and walk to that box and set the button to C.

 

  Go back to the door and to the left of it you will see 3 shelves with the numbers 1, 2 and 3 above it. You have seen a lot here now but you have to do something here. Go to square pillar in the middle, on 3 sides hangs a candlestick with a text underneath and also above it. You have to place the candles of the right color in these 3 candlesticks

  Start with the side opposite the clover casket. Under the candlestick is: I AM BLUE. Click on the candlestick and then on the blue candle.

 

  You then have a burning candle there. You see 2 coloured circles: yellow and blue with I AM TOP above.

  Go to the next candlestick, below it: I AM NOT GREEN. Click on the candlestick and then on the red candle.

 

    You will see 2 coloured circles: orange and green. Above it is the text: I AM NOT BOTTOM.

  Go to the third candlestick with the text: I AM NOT RED.Click on the candlestick and then on the green candle,

 

  you will see 2 coloured circles: purple and white. Above it is: I AM NOT MIDDLE.

Go to the last side on the side of the workbench, there you see a plate with 3 x 2 lamps. If you have read the texts above the circles well then you now know which colors the lamps should have. If you have set the right colors then the panel goes up, in the niche you will find the turning wheel that you need at the lock in the round pillar.

 

  Now it is time to move a number of objects and also solve some puzzles.

  Walk to the pillar with the lock and click on the 6-sided plate and then on the turning wheel in your inventory. The lock is now ready for use to pass on stuff to Ben

 

    Click in the lock and then on the mask in your inventory, this is put in the lock.

This mask has to go to Sam but you cannot send this directly to Sam. This must be done via Ben. Click on the wheel and the lock will rotate. Switch to

  Ben.

  Ben cannot yet come into the corner because of the green mist that flows from the ceiling.

 

  Go to the boiler VESUVIUS and click on the rotary controls.

 

  Turn the rotary knobs, from left to right, to 100, 70 and 11, when the correct numbers are on the buttons the green mist stops.

 

    Ben can now come into the corner. On a stool in the corner is a golden mask and in the lock is the mask of Steve,

 

    Take the mask out of the lock and also take the golden mask on the stool.

 

 Both masks must pass Ben to Sam. We will now first give the Hammer and the Screwdriver and the Wrench to Steven. The Wrench is still with Sam and that must also get the masks so we are going to switch for a while between Ben, Steven and Sam to get all the stuff to the right person.

        Click in the lock and then on the hammer, it is placed in the lock.

 

        Switch to Steve and click on the wheel, then take the hammer out of the lock.

 

        Then click on the wheel again and switch to Ben.

 

        Click in the lock and then click on the screwdriver in your inventory, which is placed in the lock.

 

        Switch to Steve again and click on the wheel, take the screwdriver out of the lock.

 

        Click on the wheel again and then switch to Sam because there is the wrench.

 

        Click in the lock and then on the wrench in your inventory, which is placed in the lock.

 

   

        Click on the wheel and switch to Ben,

 

        Then walk to the lock between Ben and Sam and pick up the wrench.

 

        Then click in the lock and place 1 of the masks.

 

        Switch to Sam and click on the wheel, then take the mask out of the lock.

 

        Click on the wheel again and switch to Ben again and put the other mask in the lock.

 

        Switch to Sam, click on the wheel and take the mask out of the lock. Click on the wheel again.

 

        Switch over to Ben and walk to the other lock between Steve and Ben.

 

        Then click in the lock and then on the wrench in your inventory.

 

        Switch to Steve and click on the wheel and grab the wrench

Steve:

 Steve now has the Hammer, the Screwdriver and the Wrench. But we'll just keep switching between Steve, Ben and Sam .....  

Go to the door under the clock, click on the light switch on the left of the door and then look through the door hatch. You see yellow light burning in the room behind the door.

  Zoom out of the hatch and switch to Ben, walk to the door under the clock and click on the hatch. 

You will now see the Taurus in yellow light on the projection board.

 

    Zoom out of the hatch and switch to Sam, click on the hatch in the door. 

Zoom out and then click on the light switch and you will see a different color of light, namely purple

 

  Zoom out of the hatch and switch to Ben and look through the hatch in the door again. 

Zoom out of the hatch and click on the light switch, click on the hatch again and now you will see Scorpio in purple light.

 

    Then go to the board with the zodiac sign and make Scorpio purple, then make Taurus yellow. The plate slides up, you see MARCUS B there.

 

  Note this because the box where this belongs to, you have not found yet because it is in the basement.

Switch back to Steve and click on the turning wheel of the Steve / Ben lock to turn the opening to Ben and switch back to Ben. Go to the Ben / Steve lock as Ben. Click in the lock and then click on the red glasses in your inventory, the glasses will be put in the lock. Switch to Steve again and click on the wheel, take the red glasses out of the lock.

  Steve:

 

  Click on R to put on the red glasses. Go in Steve's rooms looking for question marks, there are 3. 

Walk to the corner with the barrels, left and right of the barrels you see a question mark.   Click on the 2 question marks stones to push those 2 stones into the wall.

Then walk to the washbasin, to the right of the cupboard with the lamps is the last question mark.....Click on it and .........

   

you see the plate next to the metal door at Ben slide up

Switch to Ben and go to the metal door, left is now a niche. There is a Gold Bone Ring in the niche, take this ring.

 

 Switch to Steve again. Make sure that Steve is still looking through the red glasses and then go to the bulletin board with the 3 notes. View these 3 notes now through the red glasses. Through the red glasses you now see that there is a white symbol on each of the 3 notes. Note which symbol is on which note. You need this for a puzzle that you have to solve later.

 

You can now switch off the red glasses again, so press your "R" key. Under the lamp with the red sign above it is a wooden box. C

lick on the box and then on the hammer in your inventory, the box is broken. On the grid there is a book with a note from A.R., just read.

  Then walk to the corner with the 4 crates,

 

Click on a box and then on the hammer in your inventory. The crate is smashed. Do this with the other boxes as well, you will now see the ventilation grille behind it. Click on one of the screws on the grid and then on the screwdriver in your inventory. Do this with the other screws and the grate is then pushed aside and you look into the ventilation shaft .....

 

In a moment you will crawl through, but you still have something to do here. Go to the sink and click on the pipe under the sink and then on the wrench in your inventory. You now see that the pipe is loosened, the sink is now empty and you can take the key. It is a heart-shaped key.

 

  Now crawl in and through the ventilation shaft (press C to bend down) you end up in a new room as Steve,

 

  Above the sink you see the painting that you saw sliding up. You see the list of figurines, note the numbers of the figurines. You then know which figurine should come on which shelf.

 

    Then walk to the table, there you will find a mask. Take the mask and then click on the large vase.

 

  Read what is on the back of the vase: Wood First And Before White. Write this down because you need this to hang the masks in the right order.

 

  A painting hangs above the table and you see in red: 5 * * *.

    Turn around and you will also see a painting above the sofa, in red: * * * 1.

 

  Walk to the fireplace and here are 2 paintings, on both is also something in red: * * 5 * and * 2 * *.

 

    If you add this together you will get a code: 5251. If you turn to the right you will see a combination lock, the code is for this lock but the lock has no power.

To the left of the fireplace is a chest, click on it and it opens, take the statue that is in there.

 

  You cannot go on here, you have to send the mask you just found to Sam.

Crawl back through the ventilation shaft and walk to the lock in the round pillar. If the lock is not here, click on the wheel. Then click in the lock and then on the mask in your inventory. Click on the wheel and switch to Ben, take the mask out of the lock and walk to the other lock. Click in this lock and then on the mask in your inventory. If the opening of the lock is not on this side then you have to switch to Sam, click on the wheel and then back to Ben. Switch to

  Sam Walk to the lock, click on the wheel and take the mask out of the lock. As Sam you now have all 4 masks here, walk to the other room to the plate where the mask should hang.

 

    You also found 4 texts on the 4 large vases:

      WHITE IS NOT NEXT TO GOLD

 

      WOOD FIRST AND BEFORE WHITE

 

      BRONZE BEFORE GOLD

 

      GOLD ON THE RIGHT OF WHITE

   If you combine these texts you will get this order. From left to right: WOOD - WHITE - BRONZE - GOLD. So hang the masks in the right direction and .........

 

  ..... you see the wall on the right sliding open. You will see a lift ...... Walk to the elevator, press the button and the elevator will open

Do not get in the elevator yet ....... Sam does not have the red glasses but maybe she needs them where the elevator will take her. The red glasses is still with Steve. Walk back to the lock pillar in the big room. Click on the wheel to turn the lock to Ben. Then switch to Steve and if Steve put the red glasses in the lock. Send the red Glasses to Ben. As Ben you take the red glasses out of the lock and send the thing through the other lock to Sam. As Sam you take the red glasses out of the lock and then you walk back to the newly opened elevator. We will go further
